5 Recipes Featuring Our Homegrown Microgreens

Microgreens are one of nature's most nutrient-dense superfoods and at Sanders Funny Farm, we grow ours with care so you get the freshest, most flavorful greens possible. Whether you're topping a salad, blending a smoothie, or finishing a gourmet dish, microgreens add a burst of color, texture, and nutrition to any meal.

Here are five of our favorite ways to use them:

1. Microgreens & Avocado Toast

Top your favorite sourdough (our Funny Farm bread) with smashed avocado, a squeeze of lemon, flaky sea salt, and a generous handful of our sunflower or pea shoot microgreens. Simple, stunning, and packed with goodness.

2. Microgreens Smoothie Bowl

Blend frozen banana, mango, and a handful of mild microgreens (broccoli or clover work great) with a splash of almond milk. Pour into a bowl and top with granola, fresh fruit, and more microgreens for crunch.

3. Farm Fresh Microgreens Salad

Toss a mix of our microgreens with sliced radishes, shaved fennel, toasted walnuts, and a honey-lemon vinaigrette. Light, crisp, and perfect as a starter or side.

4. Microgreens & Egg Scramble

Fold a handful of microgreens into your scrambled eggs just before serving. The gentle heat wilts them slightly while preserving their flavor and nutrients. Finish with crumbled feta and fresh herbs. I like the spicy microgreen mixes in my eggs!

5. Microgreens Pesto Pasta

Swap half the basil in your favorite pesto recipe with our microgreens for a brighter, more complex flavor. Toss with pasta, cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of good olive oil.
